We love our islands

We are really proud about our island, our nature and history and love to share our love of the island with you

We at Ribsafari are islanders at heart and most of us have lived and worked in Westman islands (Vestmannaeyjar) all our lives.

Since we were children we have been going on trips on RIB boats and visited the islands all surrounding the main island Heimaey.

We are extremely proud of our beautiful islands. And of course we want you to experience them as a local.

Join us in terrific trips sailing around the islands, we will introduce the islands to you and the life we live here.

Just check out our Tripadvisor Reviews as you can see our customers have really enjoyed our trips.

You can choose from various trips all dependent on your interest and time. Ribsafari sails from mid May until the middle of September.

Let’s have a splendid time together.

Looking forward for seeing you.

Ingi Rafn is a born and raised islander. He is one of those persons who can crack you up with a story without even smiling himself, which makes it even more funnier as you don’t know in the end if he is truly telling the truth or not. Just wait and see for yourself.

Stína (Guðrún Kristín) fell in love with an islander and of course with Vestmannaeyjar at the same time. She is a great guide, a hard worker, and an incredible positive person. Her passions include yoga, running, traveling, and creating memories which she absolutely does with our passengers.

Emilía was born and raised in Vestmannaeyjar, and she enjoys sailing and educating others about our islands. In addition to being service-oriented, she loves to smile and when she laughs, people can’t help but laugh along with her. Additionally, she is the sister of one of our guides – now guess who that is.

Rabbi (Þórður)

Skipper

Rabbi is a born skipper. He is the owner of the company who loves the ocean and to sail. He is the father and grand-father of two of our skippers and the father-in-law of one our team members. Now it is your turn to guess who they are 🙂

Emilía is originally from the north of Iceland but she fell in love with the islands and an islander. We believe everyone will understand that when they visit the islands.  She is a true healer and care-taker and loves to be around people and tell them everything about the islands, nature and wildlife.
